Dragline Posted Monday at 10:29 PM Posted Monday at 10:29 PM Saw this today. Best to just plan a trip to the bank into your day like we used to. Remember, convenience has its price. 2
bobss396 Posted yesterday at 11:51 AM Posted yesterday at 11:51 AM I use only one ATM that is inside a busy supermarket. I look it over first, then use it. 1
Mike C Posted yesterday at 03:33 PM Posted yesterday at 03:33 PM I usually try to just use a real teller in the bank. There are so many scams to be on the lookout for. A couple of phone scams I recently got was "Why haven't you claimed your prizes yet?" and a "raffle" prize. I gave them very nasty responses and called them out as scammers. 1

That just lets scammer know that you are ripe for receiving more scams. They know they are scammers. I know it makes you feel better, but never reply to scam texts or emails. Delete texts, block them, and report as Spam/Scam. 1

Again, if you just pickup up the phone and say something that puts you on a "live" list which other scammers will use to bother you some more in the future. Best thing to do is not to pick up the phone when you don't know the person calling you. If the are not scammers and really want to get in touch, they will leave a message. With no message, you know you just avoided a scammer. Just giving them your piece of mind, even though it makes you feel better, doesn't matter to them. Getting abused over the phone is their job - they expect that.
