ScrappyJ Posted September 16 Posted September 16 (edited) It has been a long while since I’ve posted anything. Haven’t really had the time, but figure I would post some of my in-progress builds to their current statuses. This one started as a Comp Resins that I ended up modifying quite a bit. The chassis is all brass rod with some Futurattraction hardware. Unfortunately, I don’t have any in-progress pics of the chassis. Not sure when I’ll get back to it, but the goal is for a pro charger. Today, I decided to check out what’s been going on in the forum and saw some really impressive work from Codi (Tim -always a treat to see his work), AmericanMuscleFan (Francis -oh boy!) and going back to see RickArt’s completed Vette (another oh boy build!). My stuff won’t have the level of incredible detail, fabrication and attention to detail as those phenomenal builders (and Dave Sherman, Clay Kemp, etc), so I’ll just sit back and enjoy their shows, 😂! catpack68 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Looking good and excellent work as always Dirk! I can’t wait to see more progress on it. 1
John B. Posted September 17 Posted September 17 No need to be disparaging about your builds, sir - they are all in a class of their own. It's great to see you posting again. I'm looking forward to seeing this build come together!
Zippi Posted September 18 Posted September 18 This is just killer looking man. I'm diggin that chassis.
sah5150 Posted September 19 Posted September 19 BTW - I don't think I've ever seen anyone mount the chassis to the body that way before. Do you plan to paint those rivets (or whatever you call them) on the outside of the body used to mount the chassis? Steve
Codi Posted Sunday at 07:08 PM Posted Sunday at 07:08 PM Dirk, So nice to see you back here and posting. I've always enjoyed your creations and this will be no exception. Thanks too for the "nod".....cheers, tim
