Brockc Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) Here is a start of another 3d printed Fx Holden it’s going to be built as a mild 60s custom it’s only in paint at the moment as I have to print the chassis, wheels and interior up. I’ve modified the file a bit so it has a front roll pan and I’ll make a custom tube grill for it. The paint is SMS paints Spearmint green with there pearl white on the roof. It is so good being able to build these golden Holdens in 25th scale. My inspirations for these builds are all real shoe cars from the 60s to the early 70s which this obsession of aussie mild customs comes from my pops old magazines he gave to me as a kid. STU111 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 G’day Brock, I remember back when I was in high school in the 70’s getting the custom car magazines and there was always several cool custom FX -FJ Holdens featured. I’ll be on board for this one. 👍🏻 1
Brockc Posted September 26 Author Posted September 26 Small update today and that is getting the humpy in 2k clear. The splashpaints clear I have used is just amazing. This weekend I’ll hopefully have the rest of the bits for it printed.
Zippi Posted September 26 Posted September 26 That's a good looking start on that FX Holden Brock. That 2k clear really brought that paint to life. 1
