Biggu Posted Thursday at 05:54 PM Posted Thursday at 05:54 PM That is OUTSTANDING !!!!! What a beauty , you nailed the look perfectly, JM!! You are out doing yourself on each build. Really good buddy. !!
Jürgen M. Posted Thursday at 06:52 PM Author Posted Thursday at 06:52 PM Thanks Pal! I really appreciate that! I had to order paint for the box. Hope that comes soon. Decals are printed. Just waiting to paint the box. Then I can do the final steps!
BK9300 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) I need to get around more than I do - here you are over in an different section! That's a pretty faithful reproduction you've produced, Jurgen - well done. Now, if you get the bus built, what do you think your next, self-made collection will be based on? Jürgen M. Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago Thanks Brian! There's still a bit to do on this one. There's a connector between the cab and the box I still have to make and I have to complete the tailgate or whats to see of it. The rear bumper has to fit on that and the taillights are still missing. As you said, that bus will be next but I have to find out how to edit the 3D download file because I can't print it in one piece. Then my printer and the air compressor for my air gun urgently need maintanance. So it'll take a while till I get started on the bus which of course will be located in 'big rigs' again. This Chevy is a bit too small for a big rigs thread. After the bus, when my Convoy is completed? (At least concerning the capacity of my shelf) Don't know yet. At the time there's no space for further collector items. I was thinking of trying a collage. A 1/32 collage of the introduction scene of Convoy where the Duck and Melissa are driving next to eachother and she's taking pictures of him. But it's just a thought. Nothing really carved in stone yet.
Jürgen M. Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Making progress: Window frames, curtains, ventilation lid and ladder are finished and attached. Rear bumper is also attached including a step. A few more details and I can call it done!
Jürgen M. Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Infact yes, I believe I can call it done. Here a few pics. More later in 'Under Glass'! Thanks everyone for watching and for your great feedback on my build! Hope you enjoy the pics!
