Mothersworry Posted September 30 Posted September 30 My Grandson Nick built this a few years ago from a Selected Subjects reissue. I gave him the store display to go with it. He took Best of Show, Junior Class at the Motor City NNL #3 in November of 2007. Just fer giggles, his pal, Jimmy Flintstone gave him the Broadway Bob figure to display with the car. 15
espo Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Beautiful looking finishes and well detailed chassis. Easy to see how he won a well-deserved award.
tahiti7 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Congrats to your grandson! It looks beautiful! I built that as a kid a loooong time ago. I'd love to build it again, do you know if it is still available as a reissue? 1
Cosmic D Posted September 30 Posted September 30 A fondly remembered kit from my youth - I built more than one but they never looked like this - thanks for posting this great vintage kit from the old, old days.
ea0863 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Totally beautiful build! I love the particular shade of green - it just seems so period correct. Well done for your grandson!

I looked yesterday after seeing this post thinking the same thing as you.

Thank you fer yer comment, I don't think this kit is currently in production but I believe one could be easily found at Toy shows or on line sources.
