RyanSilva Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 (edited) Michaels craft stores has these fake grass clay pot toppers. they come in 4 inch and 6 inch versions 3 dollars for the 6 inch, 2 dollars for the 4 inch. By doing some research, it seems these have been out since September 2008. I wish I read this sooner, But Il be checking my michaels craft shop for them! Thankfully there are two stores near me..possibly a 3rd. so I bought 3, to try them out. Here is some photos to see the size compared to 1/25 scale. These were only 1.99 each! These are synthetic grass fibers, nothing here is real. Some airbrushed colors will make these look even better. There is a fake dirt backside, cut these open and you get a thin sheet of grass fibers. Il update you guys when I do this. Edited May 21, 2009 by RyanSilva
Foxer Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 wow! That DOES look really good aside the car. Better than most railroad grass I see even.
Chariots of Fire Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 What a neat thing! I'll have to try the Michael's store at Wareham Crossing!
RyanSilva Posted May 29, 2009 Author Posted May 29, 2009 Actually..Wareham crossing is the michaels that had the 6 inch toppers! I love that plaza, always liked the layout.
