DJMar Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I remember R&R Vacuum Craft having a panel truck (or sedan delivery?) body for the '32 Chevy, and I think Fred's Resin Workshop also did a 5 window coupe. That was 15-20 years ago, give or take a few. I've seen a handful of R&R bodies pop up on eBay now and then, so that's a place to start. I don't know of anyone in recent memory doing bodies for this kit, since the last time AMT reissued the '32 Cabriolet was in the mid-1980s.

I’ll keep checking eBay.
68shortfleet Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I've looked for resin bodies for the AMT 32 Chev also and never found one. Have found pics of the bodies mentioned above. I too would like a coupe. Also want a pickup body. I've got a gluebomb 33 panel that I've considered cutting into a pickup cab.

Hopefully the 32 Chevy will be reissued soon, should be aftermarket bodies then.
jas1957 Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I have heard from a reliable source that Round2 is looking to finally reissue the 32 Chevy.
stavanzer Posted October 8 Posted October 8 If they do, I hope then include Both Bodies, and the Over-the-Fender Headers,

(Spelling may be off.) They can only offer the roadster body in stock configuration. Hopefully The hotrod parts are good. I have seen a resin casting of the delivery van at the Toledo and Detroit show 10 years ago. Nothing else in resin. Same vendor and not a resin caster. Edited 9 hours ago by 1930fordpickup

Nothing else in resin. Same vendor and not a resin caster. And it's no real loss either. It's not correct to any "sedan delivery" or "panel truck" I've been able to find any reference to. I had a couple discussions with Art Anderson about it before he went away and he believed that body was based on a "one-off" truck MPC just happened on when they were designing the kit. I'd much prefer a body of just about any other style as long as it was accurate.
1930fordpickup Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) That makes sense. After all it was a 30 plus year old truck when they made the kits. I believe that is how the not correct 32 Fords came about from AMT. They came across a modified car and the boss did not know it Edited 5 hours ago by 1930fordpickup

They sold Millions of those "Incorrect Kits" for 30 years, before we even knew they were wrong. And, those same kits still sell today. In fact we will get one, next year...
