NitroMarty Posted October 16 Posted October 16 (edited) Testors Model Master Jade Grenade 1/25 scale multimedia kit motorcycle kit Cool looking V-twin custom motorcycle. Multimedia kit, with resin, photo etch and white metal parts. Picked this up at a club meeting about 10 years ago. Appears to be complete with all the tiny bits. Capri resin and vacuform plastic kit Don't know much about this one. Possibly German made? Resin body, wheels, bumpers, grille, front seats, dash, steering wheel. Soft black resin tires. Vacuformed interior tub chassis plate and windows. Metal exhaust tips. This one has no instructions, but I'm quite confident that it's complete. (Edit: appears to possibly be missing two wheel backs) Looking to trade for Revell 50 Oldsmobile custom, Revell Foose Cadillac, Revell 49 Mercury wagon or coupe. If you cant find a trade for it putting it on euro ebay could surprise you as these are massively popular cars in the uk and germany

I was basing my listing on memory of a neighbor having a similar Capri in the mid 70's. As far as putting it on eBay. Never again. Got tired of being ripped off with their fees.

Mark Posted October 18 Posted October 18 That Capri looks like a Capri II, '76-'78. Being 1/25 scale, it could be a crib of the AMT kit body. Monogram also made a Capri II, theirs was a curbside version and possibly 1/25 scale also. I'd bet the resin body is cast off of one of those kits.
Brudda Posted Thursday at 02:31 PM Posted Thursday at 02:31 PM Hello NitroMarty. Would this work for you for the motorcycle?

The Capri II was replaced by the Mustang-based Capri in the US.

SSNJim Posted Sunday at 09:19 PM Posted Sunday at 09:19 PM They do look a lot alike, but this is a Capri III. The biggest difference I can see is the flat front edge of the hood, without the headlight bulges. Many of the dimensions are different also. This is a Capri II
