rastta Posted Friday at 04:29 PM Posted Friday at 04:29 PM I bought this kit for my 65 Malibu SS build I just completed for the decals, steering wheel and motor. Of course there was no motor. So I wound up just bashing it with the remaining parts from the 65 Z16 kit - such as the motor, wheels, master cylinder etc. Added some red stripe tires I had. Tamiya Lacquer paint. 12
Dragline Posted Friday at 09:13 PM Posted Friday at 09:13 PM (edited) The hood seems a tough fit. The rest is smashing. And I see a Pro Street version on this very site soon. I am currently checking the fit myself. 66 Nova of course. Edited Friday at 09:14 PM by Dragline 1
XYHARRY Posted Saturday at 12:59 AM Posted Saturday at 12:59 AM I like the colour, it looks good on the Malibu. I might use it for when I rebuild mine. Well done Joe. 1

Yeah - stuffing a BBC in it was difficult and just when you thought it fit right - you finish it up and lo and behold, the air cleaner hits slightly. I trimmed as much as I could with it built, but just settled for a slightly off hood.
espo Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Great looking paint color and smooth finish and trim. Like how you upgraded the drive train. 1
