Silvercreeker Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Here we go on my Christmas 2025 build! Santa must have something that can get him through the Lake Effect Blizzards we get here in Buffalo! So what better than a WW2 Half track. So it looks like a Rommel Rod is the perfect starting point. That in-line 1939 Mercedes engine is cool and some Jimmy Flintstone figures for a bit extra. Less than 10 weeks to get her done for the big man! 11
Kanada Kustoms Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Very cool festive project... Look forward to seeing your progress! 1
meechum68 Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Very cool subject, Looking forward to seeing this throughout the build process. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 21 Posted October 21 (edited) Cool project. Chilly even. Should be fun. Edited October 21 by Ace-Garageguy 1
Silvercreeker Posted October 21 Author Posted October 21 Changing it up from military to what Mr Claus would want to bring to Cars and Coffee! 1929 Ford bench seat, tv, reel to reel, telephone and a cb. The tracks looks so much better in chrome, and some Christmas lights for taillights and turn signals. 3
Big Messer Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Did one decades ago. Mercifully got lost in a moving... 1

Silvercreeker Posted October 24 Author Posted October 24 The 1/2 tracks look much better with some panel liner. And the big inline 8 is ready for the spark plug wiring stage. 7
Silvercreeker Posted October 24 Author Posted October 24 Spark plug wires went pretty easy. Love when a motor has a plug rail. Looking good. Added a mesh membrane for the air filter. Mock up looks right. 6
Silvercreeker Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 Mock up on chrome wheels and track. Loosing the military look and leaning into the hot rod look. Tedious work on headlights to keep the ring but remove the iron cross. Always the details that take time. 4
rustybill1960 Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Very, very nice work Sir! I am really liking that engine work for sure! I am hooked, I will ride a long, as I am very interested in seeing "who" you put in the driver seat. Thank You for taking the time and effort to share with Us here! Later
Silvercreeker Posted November 1 Author Posted November 1 Lots of body work. Decided on frenched 59 Cadillac taillights. Slow steady progress. 5
FoMoCo66 Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Looks super cool man! I think it would be cool if you put some crager gt 301's on there. They look look like the original wheel just with 5 wholes so more hot roddy. 1
Silvercreeker Posted yesterday at 09:42 PM Author Posted yesterday at 09:42 PM Decided that the Kringle Cruiser needed to be towing his Hot Rod. So I shortened the AMT car hauler from the drag combo kit 1 inch. Now the VCG Resins Santa Sleigher looks perfect on it. Trailer in the first coat of color and the Cruiser is in primer. Now we have snow, so raking leaves is done for awhile. 2
Moparman18064 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Awesome project. The engine is fantastic. Love the tracks and chrome wheels also. I have a Santa’s Sleigher kit part way done also. 1

NOBLNG Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Great work so far Scott! I like all the communications equipment on board so that Santa can get the latest updates to who’s on the naughty list.😳 1
