maysula Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Hi I have done some detailing with wires, hoses, metal and resin bolts including lockbolts from Decalcas. Also I did modify the seat, some cars had a higher seat , also this one, for shorter drivers I belive 🙂 . Painted with Tamiyas Racing Green. The leather belts are from wallcoverings. A very nice kit, this was my second one and one more in the stash 🙂 Thomas 10
Charger Funny Car Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Excellent build on that race car!!! I would absolutely NOT want to drive one of those things pedal to the metal!
stavanzer Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Outstanding Work! It looks better in the Green, rather than the French Bleu.
jaymcminn Posted November 10 Posted November 10 (edited) Another beautiful 35b build! This is absolutely one of the best kits of all time and responds so well to some added detail and weathering. The discoloration on the copper piping is a great touch that I might go back and add to mine now I've seen yours. You really nailed "the look" on this one! Edited November 10 by jaymcminn
Dragline Posted November 10 Posted November 10 WOW might tend to understate my admiration. Truly an artful rendition of a stunning car. Very well done Sir.
Mike 1017 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Amazing, Fantastic, Awesome, and Spectacular. Why was painted green for the race?
echo Posted Wednesday at 04:50 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:50 PM What a nice build ! The subtle weathering sets it apart.
