I just thought this would be a neat look at the progression of the funny car in the late 60’s mpc did a pretty good job keeping up with the popularity of the sport back then . I built the 68 car from a Revell body and a polar lights chassis. The custom fade paint job is testors lacquers the decals are SLIXX . The 68 kit with that great box art would make a great reissue.
until next time thanks for looking, Mike IMG_4806.jpeg.397bdd6417e18850d549bee008cae01f.jpegIMG_4807.jpeg.b2a5cbb36f05a2ef62fc6f31117b0c71.jpegIMG_4809.jpeg.feb8b1da66cc1cd9d102c52d49ac8807.jpegIMG_4810.jpeg.5fc98cc13b2f89d1f5fae1c5e7b14394.jpegIMG_4814.jpeg.86ef3845b00dcd1ff03a0a7f2f402502.jpegIMG_4813.jpeg.2da93f01b2c083d7cd1bfe583ed04e9d.jpegIMG_4812.jpeg.f871d5fe9645037575d9693e84d41e7f.jpeg

I remember the 67 (according to scalemates) issue of the Color Me Gone funny car with the neat cut away x-ray view and the MPC 67 issue of Mr. Unswitchable.

I always wanted the Color Me Gone Charger but I did get the Mr. Unswitchable GTO. Good memories.

Wouldn't it be nice if both were re-issued again?

Thank you for sharing.

cheers Graham

Looking good

I have the 67 Built.

And an original issue MPC 68 MPC issue to build

The  Polar Lights kits are perfect as is for the 69 CMG car which was a mini body . As opposed the 68 and 67 both were full bodied cars

Sadly NO ONE does the decals to do it
