meechum68 Posted Saturday at 02:25 AM Posted Saturday at 02:25 AM Was a fun build, I want to do another 1 or 2 of these. I learned a ton during the process, used panel liner for the first time, and got a smudge on the hood/front fenders. I had some slight glue issues due to not paying attention to glue filament in the air. I have to do the license plates and decal them, and it will be 100% done. 7
Bainford Posted Saturday at 10:33 PM Posted Saturday at 10:33 PM Nice looking truck. Good work. I've picked this kit up a number of times at the hobby store and put it back on the shelf. Not sure why, it's a good looking rig. 2
Monty Posted Sunday at 02:12 AM Posted Sunday at 02:12 AM Guess I've never heard of this truck. The fender-mount mirrors tell me it's a replica of a truck intended for the Japanese Domestic Market. Interesting project. Would you mind sharing what paint you used in the truck bed (Ex: Tamiya TS-18)? 1

As I said, I want to get another 2-3 of these, they are fun kits, build up nice and I want to do a build with the bed mounted tie offs that it comes with. I didn't do them on this one as A: I wanted to do a secondary color on them and thought I could do it after paint. B: I couldn't do them after because hands decided to be shaky as snot when I was getting ready to do them, and the first of the tie offs took a flying lesson out of the tweezers.
