Rockabilly Bear Posted Sunday at 05:28 AM Posted Sunday at 05:28 AM Hello folks. I am new/old to the hobby. I ordered a Revell 32' Ford 5 window and some basic supplies. Hobbylinc is a bit slow getting the order together, but gives me a jump start reading up before diving in. Stumbling a bit blind and pretty much new to building models. I used to build model cars back in the early 80's when I was a kid. I think the last car I built was the General Lee. Mostly what I remember was how much of a mess I made with the glue. I figure after 30 years of tile setting will surely help in having some skill for detail. Hoping this will be a good source to learn. I have been mostly been navigating Megahobby and Hobbylinc. I think my first step here will be digging through the threads for good general info books to get. I look forward to learning tricks, getting building and posting pics. 2

Jim Dodson Posted yesterday at 04:18 PM Posted yesterday at 04:18 PM David, welcome to the forum. Lots of good folks here sharing a wealth of good info. As an aside, the best summer job ever back in high school was setting tile & laying linoleum flooring, etc. Boss's daughter was a cutie! LOL Jim D
