good guesses

but nope.

A hint.

The body is painted the color it's going to be. The car was restored, and semi actively campaigned up until a few years ago.

The Landy. Car was a Hemi

You're right Mike, I just looked at the automatic transmission and red interior, didn't notice the wedge heads

Bill, what is the paint you used on the engine?

I'll ck.

Im not 100% sure if it will stay this color

Its a little darker than it should be for early max wedge.

I read somewhere that there is some type of tractor paint that is a pretty close match to the max wedge colors.

I normally use a paint from True Value

I think it's called safety orange maybe

The 1/ 1 color has much more yellow to it than this one.

My ultimate goal looks like so

Regardless, if you're building any '64 Dodge Polara sedan with a Max Wedge or the HEMI, I look forward to seeing it once it's finished.
