STU111 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago G’day everyone, just finished this one off, fought me pretty hard when l tried to put interior and chassis into the body. Had to disregard the instructions and wing it with my own solution and the help of a woodworking clamp.May have been something I did wrong because I’d heard good things about this kit, but I got there in the end. I wanted a smooth lowered look, so l removed the moulded on door handles and the wheel arch trim. The kit suspension coils were cut to get it a little lower. OOB, except for protech wired distributor, Iceman collections valve covers, air cleaner from my spare parts box and Pegasus wheels and brake rotors. Colour is Tamiya TS-38 dark gunmetal. Despite the trouble I had with it, I’m happy with how it turned out. As always, any comments, the good, the bad and the ugly are welcome. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Stuart. 👍🏻 11
DanL Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Nice paintwork and great job on the BMF... Looks good. I owned a red one of these back in the day ( 396,4 speed) Cheers
AMT68 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago An extremely nice build. Perfect paint, foil work and an attractive two tone on the seats.
