Having the Revell kit on my shelf, and seeing this video, I decided to attempt to build Jenson's car.

I am absolutely addicted to the Goodwood racing site on the Tube of You since I found the pre-war cars racing some time back.

Started by filling the front turn signal/driving lights, side gas flap, and side mirror mounting holes. Cut holes for front air induction and rear gas fill location.

Added some .015 rod to continue the body seam to the rear wheel wells, and some .010 strip to finish the top of the headlight bezels.

Removed all body moldings, radiused the rear wells, and got the body into Duplicolor white primer.

I took Pierre's advise in his jag build, and glued the front and rear valances in place and removed the rest of the chassis.

More to follow....I hope

Cheers

The body looks pretty slick already. A beautiful start. Just wondering about the rear fenders on Jenson's car, a bit wider than stock you think?

I can't believe how hard these guys are racing these historic cars. Pretty cool to watch.
