I've been working on this for a couple of months now. I'm pretty happy with the results. The car is built from two 1/20 kits. Main kit it the MPC Stinger Corvette and a parts donor kit is the Monogram Corvette Coupe. I tried to get a few more angles, but these were the only ones I was happy with. The 1:1 I've owned since 2006.

Nice car and a great replica of it. Drive the car with pride and put it's replica on the showroom shelf with pride.

Wow, that is a great job! You got the look just right, there a so few minor differences that they aren't worth noting. Very nice pair of cars. One of these days I just may need to get an older vette....all it takes is avalible cash.

That's a remarkable job on your minuature and from what it looks like the 1:1 also. Are you a member of the NCRS by any chance? You should join up with that stunning example. I wish someone made 1/20 a kit for my 74 convertible but all that's out there is the 1/24 scale. The guys on the NCRS board are always kiddin' me that what do I need a model for when I've got the real thing to work on, some people just don't get it. :P

GREAT job!

Nice work! I'm not a huge fan of that era in Corvette's. But the lines of this car make up for the wheezy engine.

You did a great job on the model. Is your real car white too? My eyes and this computer show sort of a cream like color. Anyway, great job. I like them both!

Thanks for all the compliments. A couple of you mentioned or asked about the color. The 1:1s color is called frost beige. The closest color I could find at Wally World was ivory. I took a few indoor shots in my light tent but they looked awful so I took it outside to get natural light.

you mentioned getting my angles lower. I had some that were too low. I was trying to replicate the pics of the 1:1 and I think I came close.

No, I'm not a member of NCRS. I'll look into joining.
