....also the 34 Ford Pickup 3n1 (old AMT tool), the 32 Ford Hot Rod Roadster (a very early Lindberg tool) and the Dyno Don 61 Impala SS (reissue). The 1/16th scale Stutz and Mercedes Racers were released a few weeks ago.

The L-700 with Box Trailer has a few new goodies as you get three unassembled paletts (new tooling) molded in tan and some thin cardstock with 6 large and 3 small boxes printed on them along with 1 small insert of Little Red Wagon kit box tops. The boxes need to be cut out, folded and glued. Also new decals with the Lindberg logos, US Flags and Made in the USA slogan. Kit is molded in nice bright white plastic, clear windows and lenses and a plated tree for the L700 cab. I haven't opened any of the other Kit samples yet but I'll post photos and info of anything I find that's new.

Thanks for the updates Steve. Out of curiosity, is Lindberg going to release the L-700 with the load of crushed cars as was previously announced? I'm also definitely looking forward to the re-issue od Dyno Don's '61 Chevy. I'll be adding a few more of those to my collection, that's for sure.

As far as I know, that's still coming. The release was delayed as the overseas tool maker apparently had trouble with the crushed car concept. I'll add it to my list of stuff to check up on. ( Funny, I thought the Chinese could copy anything, I guess that doesn't include our Junk !!!)

Any word on when the Charger police car kit is coming?

Yes, stay tuned for a couple of days for a separate posting regarding the Chargers Police Cars.

I've been itching for the L-700 w/crushed car load for a while, too! Glad to see the '34 closed cab Pickup back, too- one of my all-time faves!

Here's some photo of the built 32 Roadsters including all of them posed with the original Box Art. I used the the original artwork as inspiration for the current box art models. As you can see they were originally motorized and these models are very crude in comparison to todays models. For those who are old enough to have built this kit as kid it I think it certainly has a nostalgic value to it. Hopefully I'm not the only who feels that way about them.

Any idea when the tanker trailers will be avalable? I'll be getting a couple once they arrive.

The Plated Tankers will be next, Lindberg is waiting on the chrome parts to arrive. Most like by next month. The Skelly Tankers are after that.

Interesting..didn't realize they were doing two..what is difference between them? Both with L700 cabs?
