FourFourty
My local hobby shop here in Florida recently closed it's doors, so I can no longer just drive down the road for what I need. Can anyone recommend an on-line supplier that has a large inventory? Preferably a company that specializes in scale model stuff. Thank-You. Guest Mustang3.8
You can try Dennis at model express. Another good one is model roundup. Ebay is also a good choice.

RodneyBad
Even Micheals Craft stores will have some supplys and other things you didn't know you needed. Plus you can get 40% off coupons. Train stores have lots of Plastic and glue. Good hunting.
roadhawg
......and many, many more. Do a google search and you'll find dozens and dozens. True, but the question was for one we would recommend. I wouldn't recommend just anything I found through a Google search. Personally, I have bought stuff from Model Roundup ( http://www.modelroundup.com/rmx20002.html ), PSF Hobbies ( http://www.psfhobbies.com/ ), and Fred's ( http://www.fredsmodelworldonline.com/ ) and would highly recommend all three. There are also several product specific companies, like Model Car Garage, Model Car World, and Detail Master that I recommend. Like Zukiholic said, check out Michaels, and Hobby Lobby. If you feel like driving, I have also heard there is a pretty good hobby shop in Orlando, but I don't know anything about it. I was just in Tampa yesterday.....its HOT there, dude! Dr. Cranky
Hobby Link Japan is an amazing place. Check it out, and they get stuff out prompt! For kits, I always go to www.modelroundup.com They are simply the best!

I was gonna post that I already did a Google search and didn't find anything really. Thanks for clarifying that I wanted reccomendations from all of you. There are a lot of good suggestions here and have saved many to my favorites already. I am going to Orlando in a few weeks so I may try to find that place you mentioned and just stock up. And yes it is hot here in Tampa, but I love it.

Jon Cole
Tower Hobbies http://www.towerhobbies.com/ Megahobby http://www.megahobby.com/ Micro Mark http://www.micromark.com/ What Aaron says! Of those three, I have bought from Micro-Mark. They're good. The hobby is disappearing from the local shopping plazas and store fronts. We now live in the internet age. Sooo... time to get a credit card, buy on-line, and rack up the debt like the rest of us!!!

krow
I have dealt with these folks for years with great service and they have a good inventory of new and used kits and all of the supplies you would likely ever need: http://www.modelempireusa.com Model Empire 7116 W. Greenfield Avenue West Allis, WI 53214 Phone: (414) 453-4610 Fax: (414) 453-8180 They publish an annual catalog and it should be coming out in the next couple of months. Great people to work with. Try them!
Darwin's Heros
These guys have your basic stuff, not a lot of detailing, mostly just Revell and a few AMT/ERTL kits. They do have some stuff like ignition wire, but not a lot. Not bad buys, you'll save in the long run if you couple your stuff for better shipping rates. http://www.hobbylinc.com/ For detailing, I've got stuff from http://stores.scaledreams.com/StoreFront.bok The prices seem pretty fair from what I've seen. Usually he is the ceapest on the new release kits and he has very fast service.
