gbdolfans Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Hi Chuck, Great looking build. What is a vacation???
purplehornies Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Very nice. What kit is that and what scale is it.
Dan Helferich Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 That's an excellent build of the old FED Tommy Ivo dragster, soon to be re-issued by round 2 AMT.
RatRod Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Another great build!!! Can't wait for the reissue of this one!!
Guest promodmerc Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I like how AMT used the same rear wheels on their modified dirt cars. I wonder which is correct.
charlzrocks Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Dude! VERY NICE! I got a kit of his 4 engine car waiting for my next vacation. What is the trick to dulling down the chrome?
bobcrozier Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Jeez thats a fine model Chuck! And on vacation too! Cant begin to imagine the hell broke loose if I tried that on whilst on holiday!! Excellent paint too! Also the general trick I believe is to paint/spray the chrome with flat or semi-flat clear. Bob
ratnasty Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) I stripped all the chrome and I Alcladed everything on the car . The model chrome looked to cheap and not real , now I alclad all my stuff thanks Chuck Dude! VERY NICE! I got a kit of his 4 engine car waiting for my next vacation.
