outlaw035 Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 wow that brings back memories....my dad had a green 50 nash when i was a kid we called it the bathtub...thanks for the flash back and nice build....neal
mr moto Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 WOW! That's a beauty! I'm guessing it's the Modelhaus resin kit - gotta try one of those someday. I had a friend in the early 70's who had a solid black 1950 Nash with no gloss left on the original paint. Very sinister looking! Sort of a fat fendered rat rod. It was nicknamed "the Beastie." Talk about some room inside! I think you could have a barn dance in the back seat.
Sixties Sam Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Nice! A great rendition of a seldom modeled subject. I like to see something different done well like your Nash.
James Flowers Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Have not seen one of those in awhile. Great looking work on that one.
dimaxion Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 (edited) Have not seen one of those in awhile. Great looking work on that one. I owned a converteble '65 Mustang . At the Drive In Movies these Nashes outnumbered my ride by a good margin . The interiors had fold down seats to avail the whole family space to sleep in . No need for a Motel with a Nash . These seats were engineered to be a flat surface from front to back . How's that for Nostalga ?? Thanx.. Edited September 5, 2009 by dimaxion
