Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Here are the two latest builds out of D. Cranky's Garage . . . were it not for the difference in colors you'd think you were seeing double. Enjoy these latest pics . . .
Ryan S. Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Why have one when you can have 2?! Well done on both. Your weathering is amazing! Nice work.
fordh8r Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Too cool! or would that be 2 cool?! Either way, very nicely done!

cruz Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 As always, phenomenal job, wish I could weather like that. You know, Bill Geary is writing a great tutorial on the basics of model building right here in the forum, you could probably do something like that and school us on your weathering techniques!!! What do you think??? The most important part is the actual pictures and as we all can see, you take some terrific ones. PLEASE PLEASE We know about your recent article on the magazine but it would also be cool to see it here!!
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2009 Author Posted September 16, 2009 Thanks for the kind comments. I have to say they were both fun, but extremely time-consuming to get done and look right . . . Both builds are chronicled here: http://public.fotki.com/vsuarez666/voodoo-...ankys-rusty-50/
Harry P. Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 You sure do like that kit, don't you? That and the Willys coupe! Fantastic job, as usual. You are without a doubt the King of Korrosion...

Jon Cole Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Awesome builds, Cranky! They're waiting for a field of tall grass to grow around them!
Dr. Cranky Posted September 17, 2009 Author Posted September 17, 2009 Thanks, gents, for the kind comments . . . I'm delighted you liked them as much as I do. Bill, it all started with my fear of the airbrush, and then the fun set in!
Jantrix Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 They look great DC. My next build is gonna be a weathered and beaten old custom. I'll use the same techniques you've shown us time and again.
