Reeves Racing Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 This is based off the newly re-released Fire Fighter kit and using Slixx decals. The yellow is MM lacquer, the red is D-C lacquer and the rest is decal. The hood scoop is after market.
Smart-Resins Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Great job! I am trying to pull parts and decals together for his first version of the 62 Belair. Jody
raisin27 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Nice job on one of my favorite pro stockers. Raisin
James Flowers Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Looks like you have another nice build there.
93Z34 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Great job on that kit! I've got one myself but am undecided which car to build from it. You did a good job replicating a very colorful Pro Stocker!
Dragline Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I've been watching and your builds are improving. Time to start "sweating" the little stuff. As you do start "sweating" these things your builds cleanliness begins to go up. You are on the right track. Bob F
Randy Kern Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Great job on that, Mitch. I think Dyno Don would like it! One easy to do, small detail, that really adds to any race car with a 'chute is to add a release cable and chute cords. You can even add them after the 'chute is in place. Any craft store would have the material for the cord, and a proper size wire for the cable. Pro Stocks from the first decade are my favorites. Keep 'em coming!
vizio93 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 nice job on that mustang man. love the size of the tires in the back.
