Guest Gramps-xrds Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Thanks guys for the nice comments. The nice thing about this paint is, it isn't cleared or polished. It's automotive acrylic enamel. George you're right about black but, just about all my real cars have been black because it was the cheapest paint you could buy
Jantrix Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE! Great work. Very authentic.
Sixties Sam Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 That is nice! The red wheels and WW tires really set it off! Your diorama is a perfect background too!

JayC Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 That truck looks superb! That black was a really nice color for it. The diorama is really cool, too.
Guest Gramps-xrds Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 You guys are very kind. I'm very pleased you all like it.Something you might be interested in is the white walls. Their actually paper. sticky backed printer paper. I made a small circle cutter out of wire and sharpened the ends to cut with.I used to do the same thing w/ lettering vinyl but after a while on the tires the vinyl reacted and started stretching. So I went to paper. EXCELLENT build Bro!!!! Love the paint, and the power plant is Killer. What did the engine come out of?? That's the old caddy from the outlaw kit. Wow! You forgot? That's a great conversion, with excellent black paint! Very subtle and VERY nicely done! May I have it? Don, I'm afraid not.
