mackinac359 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 First - Sublime 389 The real truck is owned by JADE Transport from Winnipeg,MB. Next - Heavy Hauling 378 This started as a "lets see where this leads to" build. No real plan - just parts and imagination. All the pics are on This Page Thanks for looking! Tim
Jim B Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Those both look really nice. Great attention to detail. What's you with the first photo of the 378? Looks like it has freckles. On your Site you say that the decals on the 378 were from MAG. You seem to use them for a lot of yuor decal work. Do you have a Web site for them?

SpreadAxle Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Outstanding work as usual, Tim. Are you going to go all the way and build a trailer for the Jade rig?
Kostas Parchas Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 WOW!!! HOT rolling staff... Well done Tim!!! Kostas
mackinac359 Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 Trailers and I don't get along.. they take up too much shelf space. Tim Outstanding work as usual, Tim. Are you going to go all the way and build a trailer for the Jade rig?
Kostas Parchas Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Hey Tim, ''They take up too much shelf space.'' I believe that you need extreme makeover home edition !!! Kostas.
mackinac359 Posted October 13, 2009 Author Posted October 13, 2009 Kostas Yes! I need a truck room that is the size of the rest of the house. Tim Hey Tim, ''They take up too much shelf space.'' I believe that you need extreme makeover home edition !!! Kostas.
Brizio Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Very very nice, I love the paint scheme on the black/green one!!! But both are great models!!! Nice job!
Casey429 Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Nice work on "Sublime". They're both awesome, but I just can't help prefering the green/black combo. Ever since Dad bought his new 379 in 2000, I've had a thing for those colors.
Albert Moore Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Hey Tim- 'Sublime' looks terrific! I thought the real truck looked sharp and you captured the look perfectly. I look forward to seeing both builds in Marquette next spring. Cheers, Albert
Chuck Most Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Nice work on "Sublime". They're both awesome, but I just can't help prefering the green/black combo. Ever since Dad bought his new 379 in 2000, I've had a thing for those colors. I'll second Casey's statement. If only every semi tractor looked that flippin' awesome!
87 Grand Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Man Tim that JADE truck turned out beautiful!!! I saw when you first started it using the ref. pics. I think yours looks better than the real one. Outstanding job on both trucks. I have been on your website many, many times, and can't get over the amount of work that goes into your builds to make them accurate. Lot of work going on there. Very inspiring to us that are still learning. I have a couple Pete's and just haven't started them yet. As always your rigs always look picture perfect. The best I have ever seen.
