Who will be attending?????

I am seriously thinking about driving over to Smyrna, GA from Houston to attend the NNL Southeast show next month. I was wondering who on here is planning on attending. I know there should be several of the ACME guys there, but a quick shout out might help me make up my mind.

Is it usually a big show?

Is it only autos, or is it everything?

Hello - I will be there sat up and peddling resin, we are going down and setting up with Kenny from Bandit Resins, I think a few more members from our club ( Carolina Kustom Modelers ) are going but not selling. I have only been one time before, I think in 2004, it was a good show then, best I can remember there were other subjects besides the cars, I know there were some killer built up semi trucks.

It's my club's show, so I think I'll be there

It's the biggest model car show in the southeast; we've been known to have over 700 models a couple of times...usually it's between 450-600.

Our vendor tables have been sold out since mid-September. Gregg will be there photographing for Model Cars & Jim will be there photographing for Scale Auto. You'll get to meet some of the best modelers in the hobby and see their work up close. It's a model car show, though there are trucks/dioramas and an occasional "miscellaneous" model.

We have a blast putting on the show, and most people that come to the show the first time end up coming back every year. We start on Friday at lunch w/a field trip, have an open hospitality room on both Friday/Saturday nights...lots of time outside of the show itself to get to meet people/bench race/show off projects, have dinner, and enjoy the weekend. We get an incredibly diverse variety of models on display...you never know what to expect.

Our themes this year: Speedweeks (anything that's raced at Daytona), Retro in the Metro (retro models), and our internet theme (drag racers).

We have great vendors, from Model Roundup to MCW to Slixx to Strada Sports and many more. I believe we'll have a list of vendors on our website shortly.

Well, I'm just a nobody....certainly not the caliber of THOSE guys, but I'll be there. I missed it last year and I've been grumpy ever since!
