Targa: Edited November 1, 2009 by KUZTOMMODELS88
B_rad88 Posted October 25, 2009 Author Posted October 25, 2009 ok, here is a couple more pics of the Targa i found! and here is one in a model form(unknown model) and here is one in 1/43rd scale form
FujimiLover Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I go for Targa for two reasons. Look's much nicer, and much easier to do. Convertible version look's a lot more complex to get it to look right.

ismaelg Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I vote Targa. I prefer the look of it to the other one. I'm a factory stock modeler and the targa looks more "factory correct". Also, it seems to be easier to do as previously stated. Thanks,

Thanks, ok, cool! thank you for the reply and the vote! and yeah, i know it looks more factory correct, thats something i was trying to shot for. but i didn't have a clue on witch to build it as, but so far, this looks like its favoring the targa more! LOL Thank you everyone!
FujimiLover Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Targa's are way easier to do than convert's. Just get two nice lines drawn in, and carefully cut it off and your done! I'd get some plastic of same thickness though, and make the removable top. Some times the removable top is flat black, other times it's color-matched. If your really good, you could make little tiny mounting tabs! I've often thought of doing some targa conversions myself.
crispy Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 The Targa definitely has the right look. Although the side shot you have of the spider looks great. Once you get up top though it looks cobbled together. The Targa reminds me of the Jalpa's(Silhoutte) too. Voted Targa. Chris
Zoom Zoom Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Targa for sure. The Spyder looks nasty...and not in a good way Plus the Targa will be much easier to complete successfully.
