I had to share this with you. I just recieved 2 67 Buick GS coversions from Speed City. They did a remarkable job on them. They come with frt and rear bumpers and grill, stock hood scoops and dash. the resin is as close to styrene as I have ever seen. A definate must have.

Too bad he didn't do the rest of the interior. The Skylark Interior is very different from any of the other A-bodies. Despite that, I'd still buy one. You might want to consider getting a Modelhaus '66 tub, as that will be much, much closer, and modify as needed to get it all to fit. The interior choices were dove (white) or black. The dove interiors had black accents with white seats and door-panels (except the lower panels, which were black carpet. In 1967, you might have been able to order saddle, too, but I'm not sure.

For the chassis, the Revell '65 or '67 Malibus would be good, or the AMT '67. The '65 seems to have the nicest chassis of the bunch, with the AMT '67 not too far behind. The Revell '66 Chevelle wagon could be used, but remember, the wagon floor is different.

A proper engine and transmission can be found in the AMT 1969 Riviera (Buick big-block; If I recall properly, the TH-400 was available on the GS 400, if not, good luck finding a Super Turbine 300!)

Personal color choice: Blue Mist (better known as Marina Blue) with a dove interior.

The AMT '67 frame has poseable sterring,I think-an added plus,in my book. I'm not sure, but I think this was available once,in plastic-therefore,there is an interior out somewhere, just hard to find.....A friend had one of these in the early 70's,they were F A S T....

I guess we will have to petition on the addition of an interior ! Heck I'lll add the entire kit as I get tired of hacking up kits just to do a body too . Oh and in addition , a decent BRUCK MOTA TOO ! Ed Shaver

Skylark had the choice of Blue, Maroon, champagne, Dove, Black interiors. Only the Convertible limited choices to Dove and black

Wasn't the Super Turbine 300 essentially a Powerglide with a BOP bolt pattern? They sure were fun to drive- I learned to drive on a 67 Skylark with a 340 4bbl and a ST 300

GONNA HAVE TO GET A COUPLE OF THESE KITS!

No. The ST-300 was a very strange beast. It combined operating aspects of the Hydra-Matic and Dynaflow into its own little world...there are no shared parts with a Powerglide, and no parts from a DynaFlow or a regular Hydra-Matic will interchange. I have a 1966 Skylark (Auntie's) and have learned this first-hand. Externally, though, I'm guessing they're about the same size, as they're both 2-speed automatics. The trans pans are different; that I do know. I don't have pictures of them handy, but there is a difference. You might be able to simulate it with a little scrap and some time.

Thanks, Gregg. I only had the '66 specs handy, and figured it carried over. I stand corrected.

In that case, make mine Blue Mist with a blue interior.

I need to go look through Dad's books- he also had a 67 LeSabre, and invested in a factory shop manual. If he didn't let it go with the Skylark, it's still there, and would have the tranny pictures.

Wow cant believe what I'm seeing. I have been hopeing someone would do a 67 conversion to the 66 kit. I used to have a 67 GS ans a 66 skylark. The interiors were interchangable for both years. I would just use the interior tub from the Model House or? So, it wont be 100% correct but then again YA got a 67 Buick GS when your done. My big wish by the Model companys has been for them to issue a 67 GS From what I see on the forums it would sell
