Another Indy Roadster...

Built from the MPC re-issue of the Gurney-Olsonite Eagle, plus decals from IndyCals, the Rislone Special Conversion kit and Tires from Replica's and Miniature's of Maryland

Everything went together really well, enjoyed building a model I've wanted to build for quite sometime

I even remember watching Bobby Unser winning this race on ABC's "Wide World of Sports" days after the race took place.

I love the history of this build... It makes looking at it that much sweeter. I don't suppose you would have any info on the turbine car or repco indy? Those too would be some nice kits

Awesome job on the car. I love the older Indy cars when they were actually making innovations in the racing.

Is this the same one that was in Sacramento?

Curt,

You've got those elves working overtime!! Do you pay them by the hour or by the job?

Between the awesome builds you've been putting out and the Bugatti Tank car, it's no wonder I haven't heard from you in a few days...

As I recall, those old MPC kits were a bit finicky to build, but this looks GREAT!!

It's pretty much right out of Norm's Replica & Miniatures baggie...just added plug wires, oil lines and a wire-thingy from the turbo
