Custom Hearse Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I just can't comprehend how you do the work you do... It is just unbelievable! It truly is art...
Foxer Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Very subdued and tasteful paint .. beautiful!
oldscool Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Another masterpiece in the making! Love your work. You are the Larry Watson of modeling.
Brian Fishburn Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Zed, can I come hang out in your paint shop while you work. I'll sweep it and dust to earn my keep.
horsepower Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 (edited) Zed, can I come hang out in your paint shop while you work. I'll sweep it and dust to earn my keep. You should NEVER say the dreaded word "dust" & paint in the same sentence, 'tis a killing offense in some places. Edited November 29, 2009 by horsepower
Sixties Sam Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Wow! That is great paint work! The masking must have taken forever. Very tastefully done. I'm eager to see it finished.
juergen Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 hi zed !!! another awesome paint job from you !!! great to see your technic for this. my daughter called also "LISA" ;-) greets juergen
Tom Kren Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 As i said before great job but please tell me do you lay the tape on then cut it to get it to the point you have it now? Just too cool!
Modellpularn Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) Another great paint job, Zed! The "canvas" you chose is probably not the best model to use, but it will look much better now! That '56 Chevy is a bit out of proportion. Btw, a modeler here in Sweden has copied the '58 Impala paint job! Edited November 30, 2009 by Modellpularn
Zed Posted November 30, 2009 Author Posted November 30, 2009 Thanks for the kind of words everybody ! As i said before great job but please tell me do you lay the tape on then cut it to get it to the point you have it now? Just too cool! Yes, i draw the panel with the thin tape (o,5 mm ), and then , i cut the bigger one on the car
Zed Posted November 30, 2009 Author Posted November 30, 2009 Btw, a modeler here in Sweden has copied the '58 Impala paint job! I would like to see it if you have pics of it !
Greg Cullinan Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Beautiful color combo. Very interesting to see how you do it. Thanks.
