Hey Pete :)

For me Novus #2 plastic polish works great for bringing up the luster of BMF.

I use Micro Scales Metal Foil adhesive to hold the BMF in place, as polishing, or just plain handling, can cause things to move around a bit, which is always "Frustrating".

Hope this helps - dave

Brand new sheet here of "New Improved Chrome" BMF. Looks more like aluminum than chrome.

It responds well to a Novus 2, then Novus 1 polish, right on the sheet.

Warning- it will leave a dirty, black soot smears to surrounding area, plus your hands and anything you touch. Use white cotton gloves, or an old tee-shirt.

In the pic below, I did about a third of the sheet. Just wanted to see how it would look. Definitely worth the effort.

I used the same stuff first but find that it takes "ages" to dry. That's why I switched to using water-soluble, transparent craft glue. I simply apply that with a brush on the BMF parts which are inside the body and it will dry shortly and hold the BMF in place just fine. After that, I clean the brush with plain water.

I just buff mine vigorously with a piece of cotton t-shirt.

No polish is required if you burnish it well.

A little Novus # 1 "Clean and Shine" at the end over the entire body is all that I use.

I showed this to display the potential. I don't polish around side windows, roof pillars, etc. By polishing it right on the sheet, all the BMF material will shine.
