Railfreak78 Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 (edited) This is an edited update due to me still figuring out the upload process since its saying I used up to much space in only a few posts I'm editing some pics. Anyway This is my 75 Road Runner long term project that was once destroyed and I will bring it back to life and model it after my 76 Fury sport I used to own ( maybe ). . Jordan White Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 This should be a good build, too bad about your broken models though! Plasticfrog: please don't quote all the pictures, especially since you're the post after the one you're quoting!
plasticfrog Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 SORRY GUYS...............I didnt mean to that
Jon Cole Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 SORRY GUYS...............I didnt mean to that Jason, Sorry for what? The use of the word "butt"? Aww, that's 'nuttin! No concern needed!
Railfreak78 Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 I will have a lot of gap work to do but length wise I found the Fast and Furious Charger seems to set nicely. I don't know. This is the first model I'm doing this much work on, however, in the end I think its worth it
charlie8575 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 The AMT 1971 Charger is correct. Another good solution would be to find one of the Wal-Mart '74 Road Runners, as that has the correct catalytic-converter exhaust molded in. The rest of the underside and engine are direct-fits, unless you want a 318/360, in which case you'll need a 1971 Duster for a really nice LA-Block (from what I'm told,) but there are other options out there, too. As to the interior, I'm not sure what's right, aside from the Fury's. I wish you well in this. This is will be an arduous undertaking, with great reward if it's successful. Charlie Larkin
Jordan White Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Jason, Sorry for what? The use of the word "butt"? Aww, that's 'nuttin! No concern needed! Actually he quoted all the pictures, from the original post, in his reply which was right after the original post.

Hey I could certainly use the frame/chassis and interior for sure. I have a big junkyard so if there is anything I could help you out with let me know. I'm not in a big x-mas rush or anything so when ya want PM me ok? Thanks!

I confess I'm surprised, I didn't know there was a Road Runner in '75. I thought it, RR, had disappeared about '73. I googled it and found a picture of a red one on the Mopar Muscle Mag website. It was a typical car of the mid-70s judging by the 275 hp. I guess you learn something new everyday. Gary

Gary They actually carried the RR over to the Aspen/Volare body style but the 75 style was the last full size. I was going to make my Fury sport into a clone but it never panned out. I believe most RRs this style had the 360 but DONT QUOTE ME Mopar guys lol.
