Chuck Most Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 (edited) 1/25th Stake bed '69 Dodge steel wheels '76 fury single headlight front ends realistic spot lights '48 chevy sedan or pheaton Most issues of the Lindberg '34 Ford pickup include a 6-foot stake bed that was used on Ford trucks from 1932 to the early '70's. You could always stretch it or otherwise modify it for other builds. Revell's '69 Dodge Charger kit has some nice steel wheels, as well as some plated dogdish caps. Realistic spotlights? See below... Galaxie Limited makes a Chevy Aerosedan that can be built as a '46, '47, or '48. There's also a panel delivery version- if you sliced off the top, you could probably make a phaeton out of it by filling in the cargo door cut lines and adding cut lines for a set of rear doors- even though Chevy never did a phaeton in this body style, I've seen quite a few conversions to 1:1 Chevys like that. Heck, I've even done one myself... ... though it's not a 'true' phaeton in the strictest sense, as it's still a two door. And, oh yeah, the Galaxie kits each include some very nice spotlights- with inside handles no less! Edited December 15, 2009 by Chuck Most
BigGary Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 You'll find the steelies in the Revell '68 Charger kit, the Lindberg '64 Dodge 330, '64 Plymouth Belvedere, & Little Red Wagon Kits. Gary
Aaronw Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 You can also find a stake bed in the AMT Ford C stake truck, and Testors made a diecast kit from a Maisto Ford F350 that included a flat bed and stake bed.

Nick Winter Posted December 15, 2009 Author Posted December 15, 2009 Only looking for sources for 5 things.
charlie8575 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 '70 cadillac deville convertible Nick, I don't know if Jo-Han (who made most of the Cadillacs) made a de Ville convertible in 1970, but they did make a Coupe deVille. All you need is a razor saw and a boot, which you can probably find from any one of a number of sources. I suspect the Modelhaus will have a 1968-69-70 (if made) boot you could use. http://www.resinrealm.net/Star/RRGalleries...llac/index.html Charlie Larkin

Right- forgot about the Maisto die cast- I used that bed on a '72 Chevy buildup a few years ago. The IMC/Lindberg trailer can be made into TWO flatbed bodies, as well!

disabled modeler Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Hi Nick........the only other thing i can think of is maybe a promo car of the 1970 cadillac cnvert. ive seen them before at the swap meets i use to go to.
Chuck Most Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 '76 fury single headlight front ends Good news/bad news, Nick... Scale Squads did a '75 (identical to the '76) nose for the '77 Monaco kit (it's the one on the right, leaned against the car). Unfortunately, Scale Squads went out of business some time ago, and your odds of finding this part still in usable condition are slim to nil.
Bridgebuster Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 ok thanks chuck. Nick, what are you still needing, bud? I've got a 68 Charger kit that you can have the steelies and dogdish hubcaps from if you want them. PM me your mailing address.
