Chuck Most Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 (edited) And here we are... A '53 Ford Pig Roaster, powered by a Lincoln 430 up front, and genuine, stolen-from-the-burning-city-of-Centralia, Pa. coal in back! I won't say it's the first ever 1:25 pig roastin' rat rod in existence... but it's unarguably one of very few! If you're so inclined, check out the "Mobile Pork Incinerator" in On The Workbench, or check out http://public.fotki.com/ChuckMost/buildups-and-how-to/buildup-mobile-pork/ Edited December 28, 2009 by Chuck Most

JamesW Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I love the License plate lol I was thinkin the same thing. LOL
Chuck Most Posted December 29, 2009 Author Posted December 29, 2009 I know in five years nobody will get the H1N1 reference, but for now it's good for a cheap laugh or two!
Cobrawannabe Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 This may be my favorite build I've seen since i joined the boards! It's just so awesome in so many ways!
Scott Colmer Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I finally opened the post in the WIP section and found this. WOW, WOW, WOW. WHAT A GREAT PROJECT! (Intentional yelling). I love it. SO many cool details. It's a 10 on the entertainment meter. My favorite....H1N1 plates. Perfect touch! Great job, Chuck! Thanks for the smiles. Scott
CB Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I know in five years nobody will get the H1N1 reference, but for now it's good for a cheap laugh or two! Ya know Chuck, this here buildem up is dang near 'museum quality' IMHO, and how cool would it be to donate it to some museum, and that there '5 years from now' thing would be so cool-- a li'l exhibit pertaining to the great swiney flu epidemic of '09. Mebbe a li'l card with the exhibit could say something about 'they' believe the swine flu thang started from somebody eatin' Scary Jerry's pork what was cooked at 45 mph
VW Dave Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Very funny and cool build indeed! I really like the 'riveted' patch panels......being here in the salty northeast, I've seen plenty of those kind of repairs in 1:1. It seems we have a similar sense of humor, although your build is light years ahead of my 1990's BBQ vehicle:
Chuck Most Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 Different? Yes. But I still love it! I sure hope ol Scary Jerry doesn't catch wind of the JP BBQ!
crazyjim Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 That's reaally different, but I like it. I don't get the H1N1 plate though. What am I missing?
Chuck Most Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 That's reaally different, but I like it. I don't get the H1N1 plate though. What am I missing? "H1N1" is the scientific shorthand for the most recent strain of Swine Flu. (No, swine flu cannot be transmitted through eating pork, and H1N1 is not the new Hummer model!)
Greg Cullinan Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 This is under close scrunity for Ford and pig being in same sentence.I will need a day or two to review before I can determine if this is slander! Very cool. I really enjoy your builds. The weathering looks good too. Thanks
