Any thoughts ? Whats your first kit for twenty ten going to be?

Chuck Most Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 My first kit of 2010? No friggin' idea! I still need to finish up a few of my as-yet unfinished builds (from kits or otherwise) from this year! I'm leaning toward the AMT '62 Buick Electra or '49 Ford, or possibly that Monogram Bugatti EB110 I think I still have stashed away upstairs.
Guest arni Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Gary,I say go for the gasser.I would love to see that built. My first new build for 2010...Honestly dont know.
whale392 Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I will be starting, and in a long-standing tradition never finishing, the MPC reissue 1970 Super Bee kit.
Casey Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Fit issues with both kits (not as bad with the dragster). For pure nostalgia you cant go wrong with the gasser... I agree. I've built both the '54 Sedan and Sedan Delivery, and the fit isn't anything to brag about, but with some work they turn out OK. With the K.I.S.S. principle in mind, build the Top Fueler. I think my first kit/build will be to finish the Monogram '70 GTX I started last year.
MikeMc Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Well I hate to tell you this...their both too tricky to build. Send me a PM and I'll getcha my address so I can build the rail first..no the gasser...OH Well!!
