cnaind Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Left to right: Desert Dueler, Mud Dueler, 1 ton truck. Super Swamper up next...... Thanks for looking & your support!
jeffs396 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Very nice! You are really stepping up to provide much needed truck & off-road tires Alan!
cnaind Posted January 6, 2010 Author Posted January 6, 2010 cast in soft black resin or? Dave Cast in 60 durometer rubber, not resin.
RodneyBad Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 (edited) Tires are looking good. One more size Bigger, 3rd from the right Hey Jeff - all of the Satco & other off-road tires are being made as original. They can be made with different ID sizes on request. Down sized to fit an AMT wheel would be much needed and can always be opened up easier than downsizing.. Thanks for the work.. Edited April 7, 2011 by Zukiholic
jbwelda Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 ah so are you taking over production of satco line of tires? i am glad someone has...i had heard they went out of business and was afraid all their tires would be out of production. great to see you carry it on. is there or will there be a website to order through?

coopdad Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Tires are looking good. One more size Bigger, 3rd from the right Down sized to fit an AMT wheel would be much needed and can always be opened up easier than downsizing.. Thanks for the work.. What tires are the 4th and 5th from the right (the center pair)? I don't recall seeing them before. John
RodneyBad Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 John, i think the 4th one from the right is the Tamiya Yokohama from thier Landcruiser and Montero kits that had some scale aftermarket parts on them. the 5th from the right i believe Rodney says came from a toy 4x4 and is another version of the Super Swamper i'd really like to have. that size looks like it would work on alot of builds quite nicely. Dave Bingo.. Ya hit the nail on the head there MrZinn.. I wonder if he is gonna cast any others?
Smart-Resins Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 The 1st 2nd and 5th tires are the coolest! Jody
Casey Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Does anyone cast the Ground Hawgs in a correct left-side version?
jeffs396 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Does anyone cast the Ground Hawgs in a correct left-side version? Not that I've found Casey...I'm building a master to have correct directional tread for both sides, and having Alan reproduce them...stay tuned! off-road linky
Jordan White Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 (edited) What I would really like to see is a scale, say, 33" BFG All-Terrain T/A. They are one of the most popular off-road tires, heck I'm even running them! Edited February 23, 2010 by YJIslander
coopdad Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Yes, I believe the Hummer did come with BGF ATs. I have been told they are 33s in 1/25. Check out my tire page: http://www.magazinepublisher.com/models/tires/tires.html I have been logging as many tires as I (and friends) can find.
RodneyBad Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 didn't the Revell H2 come with a set of scale 31 or 33" BFG All Terrains? not the kit with the big blinging wheels, but the later 2-n-1? Dave Left to right. Revell H-2 BFG A/T 32x10.5/18 Losi R/C BFG M/T 31x10/15 comes with wheel Glued to tire. Lindberg Ford off-Road truck BFG M/T 29x10/16 with Revell 1/24 Nascar wheel. I also love a good BFG I run a 32x11.50/15 on my Geo..
cnaind Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) So how we doing? Any New and Exciting up-dates?? Well...no new Satco stuff yet(molds are curing), but I did just add Dodge Power Wagon, Goodyear & generic non-pnuematic tires as follows: Wheels will be available for all 3 tires. Edited March 9, 2010 by cnaind
RodneyBad Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I like these I'll have to hit ya up on some of those.. Soft rubber with wheels?
cnaind Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 Soft rubber with wheels? Yup, all 3 are in soft rubber
