jphillips1970 Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Has anyone purchased the Coke truck that looks like the Little Red Wagon ? Is it the same kit with different decales? - Has Linberg cleaned up the molds any ? Joe
Junkman Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I haven't got it physically in front of me yet, but how much would you like to bet that Lindberg did bugger all to the molds?
Harlow Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 I just picked on up today and you can build it stock or drag. Only comes with the coke decals though. The parts do have some flash I don't know how things were before though. To me this kit seems small for a 1/24 but that could just be me. It's my first Lindberg model....
Bruno Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 It's not 1/24, it's 1/25. The LRW is in 1/25 scale and it's the same kit. Must be a typo on the box.
charlie8575 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 I might go pick one up to build one of the Flintstone or Hendrix vans with. I have a Little Red Wagon already that I plan to build as a regular truck. Charlie Larkin

I'm not sure how I'm going to build mine yet....I would like to build a ford version of the truck like my dad once had but haven't seen any kits of the ford..
AzTom Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Rats, I had that kit in my hands Friday at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon and didn't buy it. I have the Drag truck and looked over the Coke box hoping it could be built stock but didn't see anything saying that. Why is it so hard for kit manufactures to understand they could sell more kits if we knew what was in them. AzTom
Eshaver Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Charlie, in response to you doing a genuine A-100 van , go for it . I have seen the Jim Flintstone boidy and it fits the Old I M C / Linburg kit well. The end result is a nice representation of one of the "Early Vans " . Ed Shaver
DrewCfromSC Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Rats, I had that kit in my hands Friday at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon and didn't buy it. AzTom You can this week! This weeks coupon is 40% off. Drew
Art Anderson Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Has anyone purchased the Coke truck that looks like the Little Red Wagon ? Is it the same kit with different decales? - Has Linberg cleaned up the molds any ? Joe Same kit as produced last by Testors & Union, and before that, IMC. It's always been buildable as a stock A-100 pickup, in addition to the LRW. Art
jphillips1970 Posted August 23, 2010 Author Posted August 23, 2010 Thanks everyone for your input - I just got one but I think I'm going to keep it sealed - Grand kids someday and they may get a charge out of it - Thanks again - Joe
