slusher Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Real nice build and the weathering is great not over done
WigWag Workshop Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Outstanding, I had a double-take to make sure it was a model! I wish I could afford this kit, it's been on my wish list for some time now.
WigWag Workshop Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I like it. Looks like its seen some of Wisconsin's snow storms. That's what I was thinking when I saw this build. Fond memories of these, clearing the way, so I could get to school
Guest Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Question for the last 3 members that replied to this thread, especially the respondent in post #26, Would you buy a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread from the supermarket that was 4 1/2 years old? The OP hasn't logged in since this past February Just sayin boys, just sayin....

Still a nice build that I'm sure I wouldn't have seen...if not for post #26... and I'll look at an old model magazine too... not sure what buying old food has to do with looking at old posts...? just sayin...
Chariots of Fire Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 This build from a New Hampshire modeler took best truck model in the Classic Plastic model show last week. AITM cab and tires and wheels I believe. He had to cut down the sanding rig to fit in the dump body. The truck was weathered to look like it had just finished plowing after a winter storm.
D. Battista Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Wow...that green one is awesome too...! being from northeast Ohio.. can really see the great realism in that build...Excellent craftsmanship...! Thanks for sharing Charles !
LouO Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Nice build. Great weathering (not overdone)! I like it! Reminds me of the NJ Turnpike trucks we have here!
Dirt Demon Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Mike and Charles.... your builds are nothing short of amazing! the weathering on both are done right to their surroundings. these two trucks are two of the best weathered dump trucks I have seen so far on these forums! Great job guys! ...............Contest winners for sure!
GLMFAA1 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Now the Ford louie needs the pedestrian walk being cleaned by a snow blower blowing the snow in front of the plow truck, greg
Danno Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Both of 'em look just like the snow plows I remember . . . as far as I can recall ~ don't see too many snow plows around here! Seriously, outstanding models!
