Jim0205 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Hi my name is Jim and I am new to the site but not new to modeling, I have been building off and on since I was eight. I got back into the hobby two years ago full bore and have been going strong ever since. When I am not chasing around my 18 month old or my 5 month old I like to build a bit of everything from box stock to custom, I enjoy experimenting a lot and like to challenge myself. I dont have anything new on the bench at this moment, being winter I cant get a lot of painting done so I am doing restoration work mostly on my early kits from when I got back into the hobby two years ago. recently I finished up a weathered 66 Buick wildcat which I can post photos of.

Jim0205 Posted January 28, 2010 Author Posted January 28, 2010 Yeah this place is great lots of energy and exciting builds, I think this forum will be the change of pace thats needed. It was J Sauber's build on the 48 Continental that brought me here I was looking for info on that particular lindbergh kit which I know now can be turned into something great, then of course the variety of builds this site is not as tamiya oriented which a lot of theother forums live and die by which is nice a lot of love for mpc and amt which in the right hands can be beautiful. So in short looking forward to geting involved and showing what i do.
jeffs396 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Welcome to the site Jim!!! You'll enjoy your time here!
