Dandyfunk
Since I am almost finished with the 70 Challenger I thought that I would get started on my next build. I will use Revell's re-tooled 69 Nova SS Kit and will steal the blown motor from Revell's 68 Corvette kit. I like to give paint along dry time so the body primer went down today, color will be painted tomorrow and then the whole thing will sit for a week or so while I build the motor. Here are a few pics of the kits and the primered body. DF.

Dandyfunk
Here is a look at the paint color. It should look sweet with the final clear coat. I photoed it next to the Challenger for contrast. What do you think?

Railfreak78
Was that the Nova with the fenders you have to attach? If so wow you lined them a lot better than most go together. Nice paint choice too
Modlbldr
Railfreak- No. You are thinking of the Old Pro 72 Nova kit. This is a new release 69 Nova. It is a beautiful kit. Pick one up. That paint job is looking fantastic. What color is it? Does the 68 Vette come with two complete engines or does it just have the blower parts to add to the stock block? Keep it up and hit us with the updates soon. Later-
Dandyfunk
Thanks for the kind words. Modlbldr is correct it is the re-make of Nova by Revell. The color is Tamiya TS-42 Light Gun Metal. The 68 Vette comes with one block and two topends. Not much of Vette guy, but If I do build it I will prolly use the Nova's mtr in it. DF. Dandyfunk
Got the motor under way. I painted the blower the same color as the car. I think it looks good, what do ya think?
Eric Stone
Valve cover is upside-down, otherwise the engine looks good so far. The paint on the body looks pretty good.

jeffs396
Looking good so far Breck!!! Nice paint color, subtle, but not the drivetrain! When posting pics next time, could you include a pic of the optional Centerline wheels in the kit, I'd like to see if they are useable for a project before I buy the kit, thanks in advance!
