Jon Cole Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Surfin' car pics, found this: SMART 'Eleanor' GT 50% Finally! A reason for you to build that Smart kit! I hope I haven't scarred anyone for life with this
whale392 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 My eyes...my eyes!! Just when you thought you've seen it all in Smart body kits.......
Nick Winter Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 for the gone in sixty seconds fan that wants economy, is it me or everytime you see a smart car you just want them to quit being stupid with bondo, fiber glass and time.
george 53 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 ANOTHER horrible object that I CANNOT UN SEE!!!!!!! Curse you Jon!!!
torinobradley Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 (edited) Looks more like a 5%... So, at the end of "Gone in 60 Seconds II: Your Actual Mileage May Vary", this little hot rod out MPGs the police cruisers in a slow speed chase and and jumps a speed bump to get away??? Edited February 12, 2010 by torinobradley
JamesW Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Actually, I think that's what was left of Eleanor after she went in the crusher.
Harry P. Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 That Eleanor Smart Car will be featured in the sequel... "Gone in 60 Minutes"...
vizio93 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 haha, now put a Hayabusa engine it in and it would be more fun than you know! Dave Heck yeah !!!!!!!!! I love that video
Ryan S. Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 This is why you don't park your muscle car in the same garage as your compact car. Or if you do, use protection people. "When used properly, car covers effectively prevent unwanted automotive reproduction 98% of the time...."
Harry P. Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Is that what they mean when they say "drive safe?"
whale392 Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Brothers Performance in Tampa had an open dyno day.....two SMARTs showed up. One completely stock turned the rollers at 62hp. The second had a header and a chip (sounded MEAN!) and spun the rollers to 71hp. I don't know whether to laugh hysterically or be impressed with the power gain from just the chip and pipe.
JamesW Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Ryan, you mean like this? Dave NOW I've seen it all.
Jairus Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 That Eleanor Smart Car will be featured in the sequel... "Gone in 60 Minutes"... That was just too funny! This is Eleanor! All others are posers...
Nick Winter Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 That was just too funny! :D This is Eleanor! All others are posers... I agree Jarius, all others are imposters
James Flowers Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Wow a new way to keep dust off our models.
modeltrucker Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 That Eleanor Smart Car will be featured in the sequel... "Gone in 60 Minutes"... driven by Andy Rooney. james litteral
Rob Hall Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 How about a General Lee Charger-style body kit for the Smart? Or the Caliber? Or Night Rider Firebird kit for the Smart?
Joe Handley Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 How about a General Lee Charger-style body kit for the Smart? Or the Caliber? Or Night Rider Firebird kit for the Smart? Please don't say that, somebody might actually think that is a good idea
Joe Handley Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 certainly better as well than those lame Ferrari bodied Fiero's That's why I wouldn't put some ugly Ferarri body on one of those
