diymirage Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 well here he is guys, brammetje lucas, AKA mini me the first model of me me and the wifey ever build he was born on valentinesday 2010 (his actual due date) weighing in at 8 pounds 6 ounces and measuring 21 1/2 inches he is exactly a 1:3.34 scale version of me from the time the wife started her first practice push till the moment she wrapped her arms around him was a whopping 49 minutes (id upload the pics to photobucket but im on a restricted connection)

diymirage Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 thanks guys i wasnt sure what to expect going in but she was a real trooper i swear she made more noise during the conception then during the delivery she had a great anesthesiologist so once she got the epideral in it was all smooth sailing

(or maybe i was adopted out of the US into europe)

Mine working on her police Charger. i remember seeing that picture in the emergency vehicles build thats really cool she likes building models with dad i cant wait till mine is old enough to build models i can see it right now...ill have a big old shoe box full of models he knocked down over the years i tired that with the cat once but that didnt work we just brought him home on tuesday and this was the first change i had to be online for a few minutes looks like it will be a while untill i get to build something

VW Dave Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I say, congratulations indeed!! It's been 15 months since we made one of those models, but it seems like only yesterday. Enjoy your time with the little one, as they get big awful fast...it's the speed of life.
