gray07 Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Anybody make a kit to make the 88 and up chevy pickup into a 4x4
mikemodeler Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Check out Perry's Resin, I believe they have a resin kit to transform the AMT kits into a 4WD. Not sure how quick he is shipping these days so an email before you order might be the way to go. Quality stuff and he is in Ontario Canada.
gray07 Posted February 18, 2010 Author Posted February 18, 2010 Thanks for the info, they have what i need but they dont ship the little stuff anymore
Aaronw Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 (edited) Matt Conte at Dencon Resin might, he does some stuff for the Dodge LRE to make it a 4x4 or change the years. I thought he had some similar conversions for a Chevy truck but I don't see it listed. Worst case you might be able to make the Dodge conversion work for you, I believe GM and Dodge used some of the same suppliers for parts on their 4x4s. http://www.denconresin.com/ Edited February 20, 2010 by Aaronw

dimaxion Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 (edited) New Departure was the cooperative merger of G M & Chrysler drive train compenents . It was fractured in the early '90's . I don't know when it started . I just remember having to find when and who made the drive units when I had to fix either Chrysler or G M units in the Chrysler Dealership I turned wrenches for . Thanx.. Edited February 24, 2010 by dimaxion
