bitner Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Here's the finished Mack logger. I'll get some better pics of it outside later with a full load of logs. The orange color doesn't take good indoor pics. The trailer is scratch built with the suspension cast in metal from an old ERTL trailer. The bunks, cab guard, and various other fittings are either made from scratch or cast in resin by me.
Tony Bryan Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 wow, there are some very nice detail and scratch built parts there, I like the logging trailer that is nice
Sergey Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I always wonder how these trailers were placed over the truck those days. How is it happens?
disabled modeler Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Nice old Mack! The trailer is very nice too, Thanks for sharing it with us!
falcongeorge Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I always wonder how these trailers were placed over the truck those days. How is it happens? They would have a crane at the sort that would lift it up into position after unloading. The yarder would lift it off at the other end. Check Hanks, you might even be able to find a pic.

Nice Mack, by the way. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pat_russell04.htm Edited March 9, 2010 by falcongeorge
