juergen Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Hi guys after finishing the beach diorama i started with my next model. it´s the 70 dodge coronet super bee: the first to do are the rims and wheels, i don´t know about that wheels??? here are a pic about the original front from the kit. I don´t like the chrom glasses and so i made reflectors about aluminum on my late and glasses are come from a other kit after painting it looks so: about the color from the car i will painted it in plum crazy with with decals. many greets and thanks for looking juergen
george 53 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Juerg, The mods you made on the headlights sure made that grille look GREAT!!!! It's gonna be another KILLER build!!!
whale392 Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 If the rest of the build goes as the grill does, this will be one VERY nice looking 'Bee.
Scalper Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 are you going to try to do the red around the grill. that would look pretty hard to the though. but would look killer. loks good so far.
Bruno Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Nice job on that grille / Bumper. One thing I noticed about '70 Super Bee builds is people often overlook that the space between the two bumpers is supposed to be the same color as the body, and that really makes a big difference on the front end looks. See this pic;
jedimastergary Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 (edited) Nice work on the grill and headlights it looks like this will be one great model nice detail so far. Will be watching to see it finished sure it will be killer when done. Edited April 2, 2010 by jedimastergary

juergen Posted April 3, 2010 Author Posted April 3, 2010 hi ! After I've thought long time about the used wheels, I thought I try something else. Here I found Steelie from another kit, they sharpened accordingly. Then I turned to me with my lathe aluminum ring and adapted them according to the tire. Now I've once made silicone molds, and pour it off once. greets juergen

juergen Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 hi ! thanks for your looking guys ! @zukiholic: yes the caps came from the 70 roadrunner. @junkman: why do you mean the dogdishes are bad? i learn the modelling myshelf about 5 years. you speak german? here i can show you now the painted resin wheels with the cap. what do you mean about the look? greets juergen
Tony T Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Fantastic! I love the purple paint, and the wheels are fantastic! Nice work!
Junkman Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 hi ! @junkman: why do you mean the dogdishes are bad? greets juergen I just hate these stupid dog dishes. Someone who can afford a car like this should have the money to buy some proper wheels for it.
