chrismooney Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I had this at the NNL East but she was not complete until now. Started out as a Monogram 39 street rod. I added stock wheels and white walls Its built stock with Krylon Burgundy and Krylon sweet cream. Lights are from the parts box and the decals were made by our very own Charlie Rowley... This type of rescue would respond back in the day with a H&J Inhalator to calls and would be run by either the Fire Dept or Rescue squad Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

chrismooney Posted April 20, 2010 Author Posted April 20, 2010 Wow you did a great job on it!! Looks just right and colors really make it stand out. Where is the spot light from? Marty, the Spot light is from a Lindberg kit I cut it down and used a pin into the A post to mount it.
Sixties Sam Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Very nice rendition of an unusual subject! The color scheme is great! Sam
charlie8575 Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Nice job! I'm glad to see that can be built stock without too much trouble. I may give one of those a shot myself. Charlie Larkin
lizardlust Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Beautiful little unit, Chris!! The field of emergency medical care certainly has evolved technologically in the past seven decades, hasn't it??
Jeff Sauber Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 That looks sharp!! Nice clean work and a cool subject. Well done.
DanielG Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Sweet! We had one of the type only it was '50ish and red and white but I can't find any pictures of it so as to build one and my 60 year old biological computer can't produce the necessary data!
Greg Cullinan Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Chris this is really cool,I've always enjoy your builds in the rescue theme. It was really cool to see them in person at the NNL East. The computer screen seems to go both ways as far as hiding flaws and not doing justice. In the case of your builds it doesn't do them justice. Thanks
bsoder Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 They just get better and better Chris!....BEAUTIFUL
sjordan2 Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Outstanding piece of work all around. I'm not familiar with Charlie Rowley's decals. Do you have more information?
