tuffone20 Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 That's going to be a nice looking truck!! Your off to a good start on it.
Aaronw Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Pat, how is the suspension set up, seperate springs or molded into the chassis? I'm wondering how hard it will be to do one of these as a 4x4, seperate springs would certainly make a conversion easier. Good looking truck so far.
Nick Winter Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Pat that is great brother, I gotta get a hold of Jeff and get one of these, I plan to build this truck, and If Jeff gets the Mercury done, this,
PatRedmond Posted April 26, 2010 Author Posted April 26, 2010 Split I-Beam up front, separate springs out back... not molded in. A good 4X4 conversion kit will be a good fit here, Aaron. I see this one does not have the oversize parking lights the truck in the original post had. Do you know if the back of the cab was fixed? It's nice to see the chassis was detailed some. Other than those issues, Ertl did a good job on this tooling. Tom
