curt raitz Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Had an AMT '65 Ford Galaxie 500XL, a sheet of Slixx Leopard Flame decals, leftover '65 Dodge Metallic Red paint from Scalefinishes and some fancy wheels&tires laying around... Here's what happened when I threw them all together: thanx for lookin'
Jeff Sauber Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 (edited) I like it....Nice clean work!! Very cool. I've always liked that kit.....I think I still have an unopened copy in my stash somehwere.... Edited April 25, 2010 by J. Sauber
jedimastergary Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 (edited) Looks good the color really fits well with the flames and interior and the motor looks good Edited April 25, 2010 by jedimastergary
Bernard Kron Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Wow! So simple but to so effective. Very cool!
Raul_Perez Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 I don't know, Curt...Leopard print always reminds me of Peg Bundy. Too bad that show is over. You could send pics to the producers to do an episode where Al was having a custom car built for himself, but Peg convinced the builder to add a couple of her design cues to the build. Too funny!!
Railfreak78 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 (edited) Nice looking build. That is a great looking box on wheels just the way I like it. Edited April 25, 2010 by Railfreak78
brett Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Very nice, at least now I know what color to do mine in
Foxer Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 That really looks good, Curt. Nice touches really bring that '65 out. My Dad had a metallic green '65 Galaxy and all I remember is how it would tilt about 45 degrees on every corner.
Harold Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Nice, clean build. However, the burning leopards might upset peta . Great job.
