gbdolfans Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 :D Hey Harry, This is just my opinion but I just don't care for the ID part. I always have no idea what it is and don't have the google skill or time to try to find it.I guess I will just have to take a break on these weeks. I do love the ROM and will look forward to it!!!
kingiguana Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 I have no clue what that is ! In one way it looks older with the grille and headlights and bumpers and wheels. But, on the other hand the glass mirrors and door handles say modern. Looks like a mad scientist combined a Jag, BMW, A new Beetle and a bunch of left over parts. Harry when this is all over please reveal not only make model, but year, and what country or planet this came from.

horsepower Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 unless my old eyes are failing as fast as my swiss cheese memory, look for a German builder.
Pete J. Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 (edited) unless my old eyes are failing as fast as my swiss cheese memory, look for a German builder. I'm bettin' it is Japanese. Has the look of a 4 door kei class car. They have thousands of different cars in that class in Japan. All of them very weird. Which one I have no idea! Edited May 4, 2010 by Pete J.
Jim Gibbons Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 I have no bloody clue. All I can say is that is NOT the way to pull off retro design!!!
Harry P. Posted May 7, 2010 Author Posted May 7, 2010 You guys did much better this time! The "Jaguar" in the photo is actually a 2005 Mitsuoka Viewt. The Mitsuoka Viewt is a modification of the Nissan March (Micra in overseas markets), intended to resemble a Jaguar Mark II. (Why? Who knows!!!) The first Viewt, introduced in January 1993, was produced on the basis of the Nissan K11 March. The March's hatchback was replaced by a fixed rear window and rounded trunk, and the front grille and headlamp assembly was replaced by one closely resembling that of the Jaguar Mark II. When the March was updated (becoming the K12), Mitsuoka produced a new Viewt, which first appeared in September 2005.
